All livestock manures have different levels of the primary plant nutrients, namely nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium.

Organic fertilizer or organic manure comes from organic sources, such as Kitchen compost, cattle manure(rich in phosphorus, Chicken waste (rich in nitrogen ),animal slaughter waste, Kitchen wood ash(rich in potassium).Organic fertilizers feed the soil. In turn the Microorganism feed the plants .Unlike Inorganic fertilizer (Artificial fertilizer, synthetic ) Organic fertilizers break down gradually in the soil, this slow release of nutrients over a long period promotes a more balanced and long-term growth pattern.

FAQ About Organic Fertilizer
What is the use of Tecamin Flower Organic Fertilizer

Tecamin Flower is an organic liquid biostimulant designed to enhance flowering and fruit setting across various crops. Its formulation includes phosphorus, boron, molybdenum, and essential amino acids, which collectively support cellular activities during critical growth stages.

Used as a foliar spray just before flowering and during fruit set stages.

Tecamin Flower stimulates flower production and improves fruit setting by supplying essential nutrients and amino acids, leading to increased yields. It helps plants withstand environmental stresses such as drought and temperature extremes, ensuring consistent flowering and fruiting.

Yes, organic lawn fertilizer is generally safer for dogs than synthetic fertilizers, but there are still important cautions to follow.

Dogs should be kept off treated lawns for at least 24–48 hours after application, until the fertilizer has been absorbed or watered in.

Often made from bone meal, fish emulsion, compost, seaweed, or manure—substances less toxic than synthetic chemicals.

When composted properly and applied correctly, chicken manure significantly boosts crop yields and reduces the need for chemical fertilizers.

Goat Manure

Goat manure is a nutrient-rich organic fertilizer highly valued in farming and gardening due to its balanced composition and ease of handling. Unlike cow or pig manure, goat droppings are dry, pellet-like, and decompose faster, making them ideal for direct application or composting.

Goat manure contains essential nutrients such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), which are vital for plant growth. On average, it has higher nitrogen content than cow manure, promoting vigorous leafy growth in vegetables, fruits, and flowers. Additionally, it improves soil texture, aeration, and water retention, especially in sandy or depleted soils.

Because of its dry nature, goat manure produces less odor and is less likely to harbor weed seeds or pathogens if the goats were healthy and well-fed. It can be applied directly around plants or composted with other organic materials to enhance its nutrient profile and reduce the risk of root burn.

Cow Manure

Cow manure is a widely used organic fertilizer in both small-scale and commercial farming due to its ability to enrich soil with essential nutrients and improve soil structure.

A black and white cow stands on a dimly lit street at night, urinating. Sparse foliage and buildings are visible in the background.

It is composed of cow dung and urine, often mixed with bedding materials like straw or sawdust. Cow manure is especially valued for its balanced nutrient content, including nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium, and magnesium.

Chicken manure is rich in Nitrogen ,Cow is rich is Potassium while pig manure in phosphorus.

Fresh cow manure typically has lower nitrogen levels than goat or poultry manure, which makes it gentler on plants and less likely to cause root burn. However, it should ideally be composted before application to reduce the risk of pathogens and weed seeds, and to enhance its nutrient availability. Composting also helps eliminate foul odor and creates a crumbly, rich humus that is easy to spread.

When properly aged or composted, cow manure improves soil fertility, enhances microbial activity, boosts water retention, and promotes healthy root development. It is particularly effective for crops like maize, bananas, vegetables, and pastures.

Chicken Manure

Chicken manure, especially layers, has the highest nitrogen content while goat manure has the least.

Chicken manure is one of the most potent and nutrient-rich organic fertilizers available to farmers and gardeners. It contains high levels of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K)—essential nutrients for healthy plant growth. In fact, chicken manure has a higher nitrogen content than cow or goat manure, making it especially effective for leafy vegetables like sukuma wiki, spinach, and cabbage.

Because of its high nitrogen concentration, raw (fresh) chicken manure can burn plants if applied directly. Therefore, it is highly recommended to compost chicken manure for 4 to 6 weeks before using it. Composting reduces pathogens, eliminates ammonia odor, and stabilizes nutrients, making them more accessible to plants.

Chicken and pig manure have higher total nutrient values than cow manure

Chicken manure also improves soil texture, enhances microbial activity, and helps retain moisture in sandy soils. It is commonly used in kitchen gardens, nurseries, and organic farms

In terms of phosphorous, chicken manure also has a relatively higher amount
