Mamba Village Nairobi, situated in the tranquil Karen suburb approximately 13 kilometers from Nairobi's city center, is renowned as East Africa's largest crocodile farm. Spanning over 30 acres, this unique destination offers visitors an intimate glimpse into the lives of Nile crocodiles and a variety of other attractions, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and tourists.

Established to provide an educational and recreational facility, Mamba Village has grown into a prominent tourist attraction over the years. Its development reflects a commitment to wildlife conservation and public education, aiming to demystify these often-misunderstood reptiles and promote environmental awareness among visitors.BIG DADDY is the oldest and biggest crocodile in the farm. He was transferred to the farm from Tana River in 1986. Measuring 5 metres long and weighing more than 950kg, with more than one hundred years old. Before his transfer to Mamba Village, Big daddy had feasted on five human beings!

1.)Crocodile Tours

The primary attraction is the guided tour of the crocodile pens, home to approximately 70 Nile crocodiles. Visitors can observe these formidable creatures at various stages of development, from hatchlings to mature adults. The highlight for many is the feeding session, typically held every Sunday at 4:30 pm, where guests can witness the crocodiles' powerful feeding behavior.


Ostrich Farm Visits

Beyond crocodiles, Mamba Village houses Maasai ostriches. Guests have the opportunity to learn about these large birds, observe their behavior, and, under supervision, even feed them.


Dining

The on-site restaurant provides a variety of dishes, with the mixed choma (barbecue) platter being a favorite among patrons. Guests can dine while overlooking the scenic man-made lake, enhancing the culinary experience.
