Tsavo National Park is one of the largest national parks in Kenya, covering about 22,000 square kilometers. It is divided into two sections: Tsavo East – Known for its open savannah, red elephants, and the Galana River. Tsavo West – Features rugged landscapes, volcanic hills, Mzima Springs, and dense vegetation.

Tsavo National Park was established in 1948 and later divided into two separate parks: Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. The park is famous for its historical connection to the Man-Eaters of Tsavo—a pair of lions that killed railway workers during the construction of the Kenya-Uganda Railway in the late 19th century. It remains one of Kenya's oldest and largest wildlife conservation areas.
