3. Irrigation
Irrigate your crops once a week in the absence of adequate rainfall.
Regular weeding should be done during the first six weeks after planting. Do hand weeding or use herbicides.

SeedCo faces two major challenges: counterfeit seeds in the market and high production costs affecting pricing.

Counterfeit Seeds – The presence of fake seeds in the market undermines SeedCo’s brand reputation and reduces farmer trust. Counterfeit products often yield poor harvests, leading to financial losses for farmers and decreased demand for genuine SeedCo products. This illegal trade also cuts into the company’s revenue, making it harder to invest in quality improvements.
High Production Costs – Rising expenses in seed research, development, and distribution increase SeedCo’s operational costs. These costs are often passed on to farmers through higher seed prices, making them less competitive compared to cheaper, lower-quality alternatives. High pricing also limits market penetration, especially among small-scale farmers who prioritize affordability over quality.
